Everybody’s heard the song, it can’t be avoided, it’s all over TV in a $30 million worldwide advertising campaign for the Kia Sportage: “Start having a...Great Life.”

The artist is Goat, a genuine and insightful singer/songwriter. His new album is full of great songs.

Many music fans will remember Goat from his critically-acclaimed 1998 debut album on Ruffhouse/Columbia. He scored at alternative radio with the original version of Great Life, which also landed in the teen slasher, I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Ruffhouse co-founder Joe “The Butcher” Nicolo didn’t forget, and has re-signed Goat to his Judgment Records label, now distributed through Lightyear. The new version of Great Life has taken on a life of it's own thanks to Kia. And preliminary feedback indicates CHR radio will support it too.
